Former lawmaker Yehudah Glick, who was shot in Jerusalem, works for Jews’ right to pray on the Temple Mount. The Temple Mount refers to the elevated plaza above the Western Wall in Jerusalem that was the site of both of Judaism’s ancient temples. It is now controlled by the Jordanian Muslim WAQF guard and restricted to non-Muslims, including Jews.
